Well, as the Clinical Research Industry is aware, there are many issues and concerns in Drug Development process; animal protection issues, Human Rights issues, Safety and well being of the subjects taking part in a Clinical Trial, so and so forth. The administration in each country encourages new drug development and is ambitious about "Disease free world", The Regulatory Authorities, Ethics Committees, Scientific Committees, Human Rights Organisations, etc., emphasise on Safety and well being of the subjects taking part in a Clinical Trial. Hence the Sponsor has many challenges-budget contraints, study going futile after incurring huge expenditure (average being USD $600 - $900 million per molecule), patient/subject recruitment issues, drop outs, severe adverse events, study being called off, the list is too huge.
Helix Research Center becomes a true partner with the Sponsor, inorder to neutralise most of the "Brunt" of the issues involved in conducting a study and facilitates smooth initiation, conduct and closure of the study.
We also assist the Sponsors to increase the brand image of their new and/or existing products, as our strength is good rapport with "Global Medical Fraternity".
All our personnel - CRAs, CRCs, QA, RA, Biostatistics, Research Nurses, Investigators, Co Investigators, etc., are well versed with ICH GCP Guidelines and Regulations of concerned countries. We conduct Continuing Education Programs regularly and emphasise the importance of Informed Consent, compliance with Timelines, etc., All our Investigative Sites have capabilities to facilitate EDC, IVRS, etc., and either have Central labs or have a tie up with Central labs. We have excellent service providers for shipping of the samples.
